Presented is a remarkable, essentially as-issued example of what is arguably Topps’ most attractive baseball issue of the 1960s, the colorful 1965 set that combines noticeably enhanced photography with an almost-uniformly color-coded graphic design for a dramatic and striking presentation. The offered set is in sparkling Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint condition, with five dozen slabbed cards offering a nice glimpse into the broader condition range. With 14 PSA 9 Mint cards, 32 PSA 8 Near-Mint to Mint cards, four PSA 7 Near-Mint and six PSA 6 EX-Near-Mint cards, the remarkable, pristine nature of this accumulation becomes evident. Most of these singles are seemingly uncirculated cards, with blazing, vivid colors and superb gloss and generally excellent centering. The blazing example features several lengthy stretches of apparently untouched cards appearing through all seven series, even in the high numbers.
