Coming off the worst season in Green Bay Packers history, Vince Lombardi took over the storied franchise, who was 1-10-1 the previous season. It didn't take too long for Lombardi to be revered as one of the best coaches in the league. In fact, the NFL Championship trophy is named after the fiery Italian. Offered in this lot is a signed check by Lombardi right before the Packers went to training camp that season. This check was written to the Downtowner Motel on June 3, 1959 for $15. The back of the check signifies that Kellogg Citizens National Bank stamped the check as well as the West Side State Bank. This signature has slabbed an authenticated by BAS and given a grade of a perfect 10.
