Presented is the official American League Players Contract for Zinn Beck, a sparkling 1918 document that bears Beck’s signature along with those of New York Yankees President Jacob Ruppert and American League President Ban Johnson. The fountain pen autographs of all three are superb and come with a Beckett LOA. The Ex-Mt condition contract is 28-by-8 ½ inches, folded into panels, and is dated March 28, 1918, providing the journeyman infielder with a monthly stipend of $350. There are a few extraneous pencil markings that hardly detract from the presentation.
