Very nice looking and extremely rare 1955 Milwaukee Braves white home jersey game worn by left fielder Bobby Thomson during the baseball season. Thomsonput up respectable 12 home run, 56 runs batted in, and .257 average in 105 games for 1955. Thomson is best known for hitting the "Shot Heard Round the World" home run to win the 1951 National League Playoff series against the Dodgers while a member of the New York Giants. Zip up jersey has "Braves" in script above a tomahawk on the front along with his uniform number 34. The traditional Braves logo in full head dress patch is sewn on the left sleeve. Back has a large "34". Printing and numbers are in red with black trim. Name tag has been removed from back of collar. Wilson size 46 tag. "55" tag, and washing instructions sewn into front tail. Jersey displays excellent game use with a few small stains. Numbers on the back display the most wear.
