This 34.5" black Marucci DO34 Custom Cut III - LDB bat was used by David Ortiz to hi home run No. 478 of his Hall of Fame career. It's quite rare to have a chance to own a home run bat from one of the illustrious 500 Homerun Club members, but this one arrives with both MLB and Fanatics holograms affixed around the end of the barrel. Ortiz signed the barrel in silver Sharpie, inscribing "Game Used 6/28/15 vs. Tampa, Off Archer" and "HR 478", with the signature also authenticated by BAS with a full LOA. The bat includes custom green tape on the handle, with pine tar present in between the handle tape and centerbrand. The bat has almost none of the original gloss it was issued with stitch marks, ball marks and bat rack scuffs around the barrel, along with Ortiz's custom sticker, which features his jersey number "34" and the Dominican Republic, on the end of the knob.
