Derek Jeter will go down in baseball history as one of the greatest shortshops in baseball history, if not the best ever. Jeter debuted in 1995 and won five World Series titles, 13 All-Star appearances, five batting titles, five Golden Gloves and is currently 8th on the all-time hit list and 11th on the all-time runs scored list. This lot offers a ticket stub to the game which Jeter got his first hit at Yankee Stadium, dated June 1, 1995, with the California Angels dropping the Yankees 4-2. Jeter debuted on May 29th in Seattle, going 0-5. He would get three hits on the road trip in Seattle so this is his fourth hit overall, but his first at Yankee Stadium. It arrives graded PSA 2. The front of the ticket presents in EX but it is folded along the perforated line and has a couple scattered stains on the back. This example is only one of two from that game graded by PSA and the only one that has ever hit the market (since the owner of this one also owns the other example).
