This lot features three large groupings from 1976-78 Topps football, each with significant duplication and a large number of Hall of Famers, stars and Specials included. The 1976 array features roughly 1,400 cards, mostly Very Good to Ex-Mt condition, with some below. In all instances where players are listed, a single card is presumed, with instances of multiples noted in parenthesis: No. 76 Bradshaw, 128 Fouts (2), 140 Swann (2), 148 Payton, 158 White (3), 220 Lambert, 300 Simpson (2), 395 Staubach (3) and 427 Jones (2). The 1977 array is even larger at approximately 2,650 cards, in similar condition at Very Good to Ex-Mt, with some below, and with considerable duplication even among the Hall of Famers and stars: No. 29 Selmon (7), 45 Staubach (6), 177 Largent (5), 195 Swann (3) and 360 Payton (7). The final year, 1978, has 2,340 cards in comparable or even slightly better condition, in this case from Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some above and below, and a similar level of duplication even with the key Hall of Famers and stars: No. 200 Payton, 290 Staubach (3), 315 Dorsett (5), 320 Stallworth (5), 400 Simpson (3), and 443 Largent (5).
