Here is an imposing array of cards from one of the most prominent Depression era card sets, the 1938 Horrors of War issue of 3 1/8-by-2 ½-inch cards comprising a 240-card set portraying illustrations from the Chinese-Japanese War, the Ethiopian War and the Spanish Civil War, with another 48 cards depicting the beginnings of World War II added after 1938 and receiving more limited distribution.
