This one-quarter square inch of black fabric was once part of Bela Lugosi's Count Dracula cape. The cape was once worn both on stage and on film while in character as Count Dracula. The 3.5x6-inch card is in a screw-down holder with an image of Count Dracula and the words explaining "This historic relic was owned by horror film star and relic collector, Forrest J. Ackerman, who also was the founder of Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. Ackerman offered the cape at the Beverly Hills Manuscript, Memorabilia and Collectibles auction."
