Offered here is a truly imposing array of 1950’s Bowman baseball issues, with almost five dozen Hall of Famers included in the mix and particularly notable groupings of nearly four dozen cards from both 1952 and 1953 Bowman Color. The broader group includes a good deal of duplication, often involving many of the key HOFers, and while some of the cards are found in grades that might typify older collections, Good to Very Good, there are also dozens of Excellent and even better specimens, most notably from the two large groupings from 1952 and 1953. This is an old-fashioned style auction lot, compelling a good deal of careful examination.
