This is a nice array of 1962 Topps Baseball cards, including eight Hall of Famers, in a solid VG to VG-Ex-Plus condition, headlined by slabbed cards of No. 10 Roberto Clemente (PSA 4.5) and No. 471 Mickey Mantle All-Star (PSA 4) in grades that neatly offer a glimpse of the broader condition range. Along with aforementioned slabbed cards of Mantle and Clemente, two of the most beloved players of the era, this lot includes seven other Hall of Famers and many of the specials that were another highlight of the iconic 1962 issue, most notably the Team and World Series and the two All-Star subsets for the American and National Leagues. There are also more than a half dozen cards from the difficult high-number series, one of the toughest of the decade for Topps. The cards are remarkably uniform and consistent, with startling, vivid colors, sharp photo registration and great gloss.
