Presented here is a highly collectible example of an important 1960’s Topps baseball issue, the colorful 1965 set that boasts bright border color schemes that neatly set off some of the best photography of the era. This particular offering features a high-grade No. 350 Mickey Mantle card (Ex-Mt) that edges to the upper end of the broader condition range of Very Good to Ex-Mt for the set, with some above and below and the emphasis probably to Excellent. After around No. 400 or so, the wide condition range actually accelerates a bit, with a great frequency of Near-Mint cards appearing, along with others falling below the range. Five of the cards have been autographed: No. 3 League Leaders has a Killebrew signature, No. 150 Brooks Robinson, No. 208 Tommy John and No. 275 Dick Groat; the No. 6 League Leader has a Willie Mays signature that was rejected by PSA.
