Certainly one of the most attractive non-sport issues of the era, these 2 ½-by-3 ¾-inch beauties are in a solid Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with a few below, and the three dozen nearly equally divided between the two grades. These are wonderful colorized photographs, with blazing, vivid colors and sharp photography presenting many of the legendary stars of the era, elegantly presented in eight-pocket sheets and binder. A handful of condition notables include the No. 1 card is VG-Ex m/c, No. 14 Bob Hope is Nr-Mt o/c, No. 19 Groucho Marx is also Nr-Mt o/c and No. 36 is Ex. The issue is all neatly presented in eight-pocket sheets and a binder. About a dozen cards have the kind of centering that might typically prompt an upgrade, though not all of those would be severe enough to dictate a formal off-center designation.
