This is a handsome complete set featuring the popular folk hero Davy Crockett, who took the 1950’s by storm and thus attracted the notice of cardmaker Topps for inclusion in its growing non-sport lineup. This is the Orange Back Crockett issue, 2 5/8-by-3 ¾ inches, presented here in a binder and in largely Very Good to Excellent condition, with maybe 20 cards reaching Ex-Mt and a couple below to Very Good. The emphasis is closer to Excellent, with a handful of off centers included in the mix, along with eight miscuts.
