Fiddling with the press run is a hobby tradition that dates back more than 100 years to the pesky Old Judges and then the interruption of Honus Wagner’s status in the 1909-11 T206 White Border issue, so it’s hardly damning that “modern” producers like Bowman and Topps might have the occasional error to correct.
