Presented here is a huge array of cards from two popular late 1960’s Topps baseball issues, the condition-sensitive 1968 “burlap” cards and the ‘Grey Lady” of 1970 Topps. The 1968 section totals 163 cards and boasts an outstanding overall condition of essentially Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt, with a few below but the emphasis easily to the upper end of the spectrum. The grouping boasts great colors and gloss and an imposing lineup of All-Stars, stars and specials, with a bit of duplication and three O-Pee-Chee cards tossed into the mix. The much larger array is from 1970, with 476 cards, and in nearly as impressive overall condition, largely Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some below and a number of cards above, with the emphasis probably to Excellent. There is even less duplication in this array than the 1968 group; a little over a dozen cards have some light pen marks on the back.
