This piece includes three vintage New York Daily News full newspapers, with two of Thurman Munson's death, one celebrating Roger Maris' 61st Home Run and one cardboard paste-up reproduction with Ruth and Gehrig with the words of Bobby Murcer's eulogy at Munson's funeral. The Maris newspaper features Maris and Sal Durante with the 61st home run ball (Oct. 2, 1961). The two Munson newspapers are both dated August 3, 1979, with one featuring wreckage from Munson's plane and the Final Edition featuring Munson the back.
