Presented here is yet another striking example of one of the classic non-sport Topps issues from the 1950’s, the 1955 Rails & Sails issue which picture some of the nicest artwork ever featured in card sets. The 2 1/4-by-3 ¾-inch cards are found here in a condition range notieceably better than these non-sport treasures are typically found in older collections, generally Excellent to Nr-Mt, with a few below and the emphasis to Ex-Mt. The cards boast wonderful vivid colors and good gloss, all of which elegantly showcases the classic renderings of locomotives and ships of every description. The two missing numbers are 152 and 173.
