Offered is a complete set of the 1962 Post Cereal Baseball issue, found here in broadly Excellent to Ex-Mt condition for those cards reasonably well cut, with the emphasis probably to Ex-Mt and with some reaching Near-Mint, a fairly typical qualifier for an issue that so strenuously taxed the scissoring skills of a generation of American youth. The 1962 set was the second of three years that Post put baseball cards on the boxes of their many cereals, and the cutting capabilities with 1962 and 1963 often improved a bit, and such is the case here. In the listing below, cards are listed for Hall of Famers and keys, plus some anomalies that fall outside the condition range. The breakdown: No. 5 Mantle – Ex-Mt, No. 17 – Very Good, No. 22 – wavy cut, No. 24 – VG-Ex, No. 35 Wilhelm (st), No. 43 – wavy cut, No. 57 – Near-Mint, No. 60 – VG, No. 95 – Good, No. 109 Koufax – Good, No. 120 – Nr-Mt, No. 121 – Nr-Mt, No. 131 McCovey – Nr-Mt, No. 136 Cepeda – VG – poorly cut, No. 142 Mays – VG-Ex, No. 149 Aaron – Fair, No. 152 Torre – VG, No. 164 – Good, No. 173 Clemente – VG and No. 188 Banks – poorly cut.
