Here is a striking gamer from Ken Macha, one of a handful of players who played for both Canadian teams in their careers. The shirt shows good game use and has Macha’s name on the back in white and blue tackle twill, with a previous nameplate clearly visible as removed. The powder-blue classic has the famed Expos ”M” red, white and blue logo on the front left breast in tackle twill above a blue tackle twill “expos.” His No. 31 appears at right in red tackle twill and in the back in blue and white, with some fraying of the delicate blue stitching present. As noted, the shirt shows game use, including dirt and staining on the back-left shoulder; the Size 44 Wilson label appears at the back of the collar and there is a team tag embroidered in black on powder blue reading “80 1.” It is a wonderful artifact from a veteran former major leaguer and longtime manager, with the added cachet of a now-defunct team added to the mix.
