This is a really cool piece attributed to slick-fielding first sacker Mike Squires, who toiled for the Chicago White Sox for a remarkable 10 seasons, batting .260 lifetime with six home runs and 141 RBI. This sensational shirt has Fallon across the back after a team-executed name change in the spring of 1984, but it’s the Gold-Glove winning Squire whose name is embroidered in team tagging at the base of the shirt, along with “83” and “44T.” Adding to the luster is the 1983 All-Star Game 50th Anniversary embroidered patch at the left shoulder. Sand-Knit tagging Size 44 also appears at the front-left tail, with adjacent White Sox team tagging. The shirt carries Bob Fallon’s No. 37 on the back and is in simply spectacular condition. Fallon was a journeyman hurler who pitched briefly in two seasons with the White Sox from 1984-95.
