Magnificent, 8 x 10 Type 1 action photograph of Babe Ruth of the New York Yankees lacing a triple in the 1st Inning against the Detroit Tigers on July 21st, 1924 at Yankee Stadium. The remarkable image demonstrates Ruth’s flawless follow through while keenly observing the path of the baseball. The verso features a caption tag dated 7-21-24 along with several pencil notations and an International Newsreel stamp. Overall Excellent condition with three corner pinholes, crazing and some minor creasing to the corners.
