Appearing in the Fall Classic for the second year in a row, the Tigers nailed down the first World Series title in team history, besting the Chicago Cubs in six games. The 1935 World Series ring essentially mirrors the elegant 1934 version, albeit at ¾-inch in diameter as opposed to 1 inch and with the intricate gold highlights against a striking black background instead of white enamel. With the gold highlights noting “Tiger” and the year, with black-and-gold Tiger logo at the center. The classic design presents in spectacular fashion, with only the barest whisper of wear at the gold rim. The original screw-down post is intact and working; stamping of “1/20 10K Gold Filled” appears on the back at the bottom and the maker’s mark at the top.
