This is an imposing array of predominantly the Hall of Famers (19) from the iconic 1957 Topps Football, the company’s first-ever football issue in the now-standard 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch format and the set with arguably the most impressive Rookie roster in company history. That august group includes the likes of Bart Starr, Johnny Unitas and Paul Hornung, among others. The lot would serve admirably as a launch on building a complete set, with virtually all of the most difficult and expensive cards included in the mix.
