Presented is a truly stunning near set of the iconic 1959 Topps Football issue that is in spectacular, essentially Near-Mint or better overall condition, in an array missing only 21 cards, albeit some of them are important Hall of Famers. It’s difficult to imagine finding a more impressive near set of this colorful, classic issue, with bold colors and a clean, consistent look and uniform presentation. As noted, the array is solidly Near-Mint or better, perhaps 10 percent reaching Ex-Mt, with a handful below. A listing of the missing numbers appears at the end of this entry.
