Offered is a highly attractive example of one of the classic Topps issues from the 1970s, the quirky and charming 1972 Baseball set, found here in broadly Ex-Mt to Near-Mint condition, with some below to Excellent or Very Good. This was the largest set that the Brooklyn-based behemoth had ever produced to that point, an issue with a remarkably distinctive design and a vast armada of “Specials,” including Boyhood images of various stars, In Action cards of many of the biggest names and even some cards depicting various individual trophies and plaques. This particular array is further augmented by a significant grouping of extra, read duplicates, that include almost a dozen Hall of Famers, major stars and specials.
