The popular 1937 F277-4 series of Heinz Aviators contains five cards which at some point, were pulled from production, creating five extremely rare variations in the set: Amelia Earhart #2; Laura Ingalls #5; Howard Hughes #7; Edwin Musick #8; and Frank Hawks #9. All very difficult to locate and sell for significant premiums to the regular cards in the set. Offered is a rare example of card #5 Laura Ingalls. Ingalls was a popular female aviator of the time and a distant relative of Laura Ingalls Wilder of Little House on the Prairie fame. A legendary 1930s non sport rarity, graded PSA 1 (MK) Poor.
