This lot features two signed original photos of actress Patricia Morison. She made her debut in film after several years on the stage and was known for her beauty with her blue eyes and long, dark hair being her most noted attributes. She returned to Broadway in 1948 and achieved her greatest success in Cole Porter's "Kiss Me, Kate". Morison signed these two photos, with one being a studio 11x14 (dated 1939) and the other being a Paramount Pictures promotion 8x10 from 1938. Both are personalized to agent Jane Broder and signed "Pat". The signatures were deemed inconclusive by PSA/DNA due to lack of exemplars, but are from the same Broadway and Hollywood collection as many other items in this auction, all relating to the agent Jane Broder.
