Presented is a near set of the iconic 1962 Topps Baseball issue, an array that is complete from 1-522 and then adds another 56 cards from the High Series. There are two third-party graded and slabbed cards included in the mix: No. 200 Mantle – PSA 5 and No. 425 Yastrzemski – PSA 6. The lower series cards are broadly Excellent to Ex-Mt, with some above and below the range, including quite a few Near-Mint cards; the High Series group is barely a whisper lower, perhaps Very Good to Excellent, with some above and below. The 1962 Topps issue is one of the earliest Topps issue with a particularly condition-sensitive pedigree, with the wood-grain borders so readily showing even the slightest wear and handling. In addition to the 56 High numbers, there is another extra card with the Hal Reniff variation.
