This is one of more intriguing arrays of cards that we've encountered in years, more than 1,200 pristine cards from 1968 Topps, a group that obviously includes enormous duplication, often with the biggest stars of the day, along with the various Specials and All-Star cards. It is a simply remarkable high-grade grouping of Near-Mint to Near-Mint to Mint cards, with some below but the clear emphasis to the upper end of the spectrum. The infamous “burlap” borders never looked better, showcasing exceptional photography and great color and gloss, along with vivid orange backs just as clean and crisp as the fronts. The fact is that a whole bunch of 1968 Topps sets are going to get well with this one. A rundown of the lineup is imposing, with 58 Hall of Famers included, along with 30 League Leaders (at least one complete subset), 37 All-Stars, 25 World Series subset cards, 25 Checklists (including a set – two are mk), and 16 Team cards, plus literally hundreds of stars and minor stars. The lineup of All-Stars includes Yastrzemski (3), Carew (2), Brooks Robinson (2), Brock (2), Morgan (5), Cepeda (6) and Santo (4), and the Team card roster includes Orioles (2), Mets, Dodgers (2), Braves (2), Twins (3), Pirates (2), Cardinals, Angels (2) and Reds.
