This is an attractive game-worn flannel and pants from the Indianapolis Indians from a half-century ago, with attribution to pitcher Bill Harrelson and a compelling presentation of an artifact from a key minor-league affiliate. The road flannel jersey is a medium-weight with seven-button front and has Wilson Size 44 collar label, 3/8th inch red piping at sleeve end and collar and button path. “Indianapolis” is across the front in navy twill and “1970” is chain link stitched onto a flannel swatch on the left-front tail; left sleeve has the “Indians 6672 Inc.” patch. Accompanying pants are all-gray wool, Size 36, with Wilson label in waist and five-button fly; a single, back pocket button is missing. Shirt and pants are in wonderful condition.
