Presented is an impressive partial set of the iconic 1952 Bowman Small Football issue, representing about 70 percent of a complete set and including almost two dozen Hall of Famers and several key Rookie cards, all in a condition range markedly better than this important set is typically found in mature collections. With barely a whisper of duplication, the array could be used to upgrade an existing set or launch on a new one. Headlined by Hall of Famers like Van Brocklin, Bednarik, Layne, Waterfield and Fears, to name a few, and a boffo Rookie class with the likes of Gifford, Donovan, and Stydahar and Marchetti, the array is particularly notable for both its condition and lineup. It comes out to 52 percent Excellent to Ex-Mt, 36 percent Very Good to VG-Ex and 11 percent Good.
