Here are eight pristine complete sets (and one partial) from one of the most popular and prolific regional card manufacturers, Mother’s Cookies, which has a distinguished hobby history dating originally to 1952 and then revived in the 1980s as the hobby took off. Presented here are nine Mother’s Cookies team sets from that later period, sets that essentially as-issued, Near-Mint to Mint or better. The lineup from these particular West Coast and Southwest ball clubs yields names like Nolan Ryan, Tony Gwynn, Goose Gossage, Frank Robinson, Dick Williams, Steve Garvey, to name a few. Here’s the breakdown: 1983 Giants (20), the only Mother’s Cookies set issued that year; 1984 Mariners (28); 1984 Padres (28); 1984 Astros Partial Set (20/28); and all five (5) sets from 1985 – Oakland (28), Astros (28), Giants (28), Mariners (28) and Padres (28).
