Offered is a compelling example of one of the most important rookie cards extant, Willie Mays’ attractive 1951 Bowman Rookie, the horizontal masterpiece that is, of course, one of the two keys to the fabled 1951 Bowman issue and a hallmark item for any serious Willie Mays collector. This attractive 1951 Bowman Willie Mays RC has great coloring and arrives in a PSA 4 holder. It's nicely centered all around with four corners that look NM, but has two printer lines on each side of Mays' face that apparently limit it to VG/EX. The Mays RC is No. 305 in the set and continues to appreciate in value.
