There’s no kitchen sink but just about everything else is here in a unique lot that could be type cards, different sports, regionals, food issues, some nifty football and basketball, in short, the kind of lot that holds a good deal of value and just requires some careful examination to take it all in. Picking headliners is tricky when it's so diverse, but how about a great group of 1955 Bowman umpires, the informal subset of 31 arbiters that includes almost a dozen HOFers, or a really nice group of almost three dozen 1956 Topps Team cards from both baseball and football, including keys like the Yankees, Dodgers, Giants (baseball) and the Packers, Lions, Bears and Colts in football, to name a few. You get the idea: there’s a lot here, capped off at the end by the exotic 1975 SSPC Baseball Complete Set and a 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Rookie card. Here’s an approximate breakdown: 1911 T201 Double Folders (2) of Bender/Oldring – PSA 2 and Rucker/Daubert – Poor; 1933 Sport Kings Johnny Weismuller – Excellent; 1947-66 Exhibits and Postcards and other miscellaneous (30); 1947 Signal Oil PCL Group (65) with duplicates, mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt, a few below; 1949 Bowman Baseball (7) – Fair; 1951 Berk Ross (8); 1955 Topps Doubleheaders (24), mostly Fair to Good; 1955 Bowman Baseball Umpires subset group from the high series (31), mostly Ex-Mt, including Barlick, Chylak, Conlon, Dascoli, Donatelli, Gorman, Honochick, Hubbard, Hurley, Pinelli and Runge; 1956 Topps Baseball and Football Team cards (31), mostly Very Good to Excellent, with some below, with the Baseball array (19) including several different variations (no Dated) and cards of the Yankees, Dodgers, Giants (2), Cardinals (2), Cubs, Reds, Braves and Phillies – a dozen Football, including Packers, 49ers, Colts, Bears, Rams, Browns, Cardinals (2), Lions (2), Steelers and Eagles; 1959 Topps Baseball (5) – Very Good to Excellent, including Mays and Maris; 1960s Vintage Japanese Baseball 7-by-9-inch uncut sheet (12); 1960 Topps (11) – Ex to Ex-Mt; 1961 Peter’s Meats Twins (11) – mostly Excellent; 1961 Nu-Card Scoops Football (59) – generally Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt; 1964 Topps CFL Group (66) – Nr-Mt or better; 1966 Topps Baseball (18) – mostly Ex to Ex-Mt, couple below, including No. 215 League Leaders (Clemente/Aaron/Mays); 1972 Topps (20) – with two (2) Mays and three (3) Teams; 1975 Topps Baseball (7), with a couple of Minis, Ryan – VG-Ex; Miscellaneous Group (60) evenly divided between baseball, football and 1971 Topps Basketball; 1975 SSPC Baseball Complete Set (630) – Nr-Mt to Mt; and a 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie card.
