Presented is a nearly unimprovable example of one of the most-difficult and condition-sensitive peripheral issues of the postwar era, the luscious green and yellow die-cut blazers that include 21 Hall of Famers, including all of the major stars of the era. The offered set is in essentially Near-Mint or better condition, with no discernible difference between the Tier One Hall of Famers and the rest of the gang, producing a remarkably uniform and consistent presentation of an issue that typically has been one of the more difficult to find in top grades. These are seemingly as-issued cards, including Mickey Mantle graded PSA 6; exceptions would be the Kaline (VG-Ex) and Spahn cards (Excellent).
