One of the real scarcities from a period when Topps dabbled in dozens of charming “test issues,” the 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch Pirates Stickers feature the legendary Pittsburgh stars of the era, including Clemente, Stargell, Mazeroski, et al., with the two Clemente stickers the keys to the difficult issue. The offered 33-card set is in striking Near-Mint or better condition, with blazing, vivid colors and gloss in a test issue that neatly complements a similar effort from the same season featuring the AL Champion Boston Red Sox.
