Here’s yet another standout artifact linked to a legendary lefthander from the 1950s and 1960s, Harvey Haddix, who compiled a sterling 136-113 mark over 14 major-league seasons and is represented here by his famed No. 31 from 1983 as the Pirates pitching coach. The pullover home shirt has V-neck with black/yellow/black ribbed knit accents, with all identifiers sewn on in black-on-yellow tackle twill. The home jersey has the Rawlings collar labeling that shows considerable wear, with the size undecipherable. The man who landed in the record books by pitching 12 perfect innings against the Milwaukee Braves in 1959 before losing in inning No. 13 and then one year later was the winning pitcher in the epic Game Seven of the World Series thanks to the Bill Mazeroski heroics, coached for the Pirates from 1981-84 and wore the same No. 31 from his playing days.
