Presented is an intriguing 45-year-old Chicago Bulls road jersey with possible player attribution to a 1976 10th-round draft pick John Hudson out of Concordia College. The red mesh shirt has three-color, five-stripe neck and arm yoke trim, with “Chicago” script front screened on the front and the same format for the No. 23 and NOB “Hudson” on the back. It has Sand Knit Size 42 labeling in the tagging style for the 1971-76 period. No player “Hudson” is connected with the Bulls for the period; possibly a preseason player to John Hudson, or more remotely, created to try to lure Hawks star and eventual Hall of Famer Lou Hudson, who eventually signed with the Lakers.
