Here are two important cards from arguably the most-beloved player in postwar Major League Baseball history: the regular-issue Mickey Mantle cards from both 1956 and 1960 Topps. Not surprisingly, the two cards are the keys to both issues, and ones that command widespread attention even in lower or collector grades. Headlining the 1956 issue, Topps’ final effort in the oversized 2 5/8-by-3 ¾-inch format before switching to the now-standard size of 2 ½-by-3 ½ inches, the No. 135 Mantle card is found here in technically Fair condition; the No. 350 Mantle from 1960 is in Excellent condition.
