Here’s an intriguing array of mostly vintage Topps baseball Hall of Famers cards, touching many of the biggest stars of the era, from Aaron, Mantle, Banks and Berra to Clemente and Koufax and a blazing 1989 Upper Deck Ken Griffey Junior Rookie card, just to make sure everyone was paying attention. Many of the key cards are regular-issue versions, along with a All-Star subset card and 10 cards from the important 1961 Topps MVP Subset Series. The breakdown (cards are the regular-issue version unless otherwise indicated): 1959 Topps Aaron All-Star – Excellent; 1961 Topps (11) – No. 2 Maris – Excellent and 10 MVPs (mostly Excellent to Ex-Mt), including Mantle, Aaron, Maris, Berra, Campanella (Very Good), Rizzuto (VG), Sauer, Rosen and Jensen; 1965 Topps (2) – Aaron – Very Good and Banks – VG; 1966 Topps (2) – Koufax – Very Good and Clemente – Excellent; and 1989 Upper Deck Griffey Rookie – Near-Mint to Mint.
