Presented are nearly three dozen mostly high-grade yearbooks that chronicle the story of the Lovable Metsies from their ignominious debut at the Polo Grounds in 1962 to the unfathomable World Series triumph seven years later and another one in 1986. The saga of Flushing Meadows is all here for The Faithful, brought to life by names like Stengel, Seaver, Kranepool, Ryan, Gooden, Strawberry and the rest of the gang. In the listing that follows, most of the yearbooks are 48 pages through the 1960s, generally 64 pages or so in the 1970s and anywhere from 72 to 98 pages after 1983.
