Presented is a stunning Northwestern University letterman sweater from the middle of The Great Depression, a spectacular heavy wool, deep mustard-gold knit, attributed to Harold E. Stroh. The sweater has six-button front intact, with dramatic 7 ¼-inch purple chenille “N” on the left chest. It has mini fold-down hood collar (seven inches at zenith, along with dual front pockets. A.G. Spalding labeling appears at the back of the collar. It is a simply amazing artifact from the Big Ten dating back nearly 100 years, found in simply incredible condition.
