Here’s the classic 1955 Bowman Baseball issue, the company’s final card set from its storied tenure producing cards in the 1950s, found here in an attractive mostly Very Good to Ex-Mt condition, with some above and below the range and three of the keys third-party graded to good effect. The three slabbed examples are No. 184 Willie Mays – SGC 50, No. 242 Ernie Banks – PSA 6 and No. 265 Al Barlick Rookie – PSA 4. Overall, the set comes out to 8 percent Near-Mint, 20 percent Ex-Mt, 29 percent Excellent, 32 percent Very Good and 9 percent Good, with only a couple of cards below.
