Presented is a very attractive near set of the iconic 1967 Topps Baseball issue, arguably the company’s most popular set of the decade and a classic, elegant cornerstone of countless postwar collections. The offered near set is essentially Very Good to Ex-Mt, with the emphasis almost equally divided between Excellent and Ex-Mt. Three of the keys have been appropriately blessed and entombed: No. 150 Mantle – PSA 5, No. 569 Carew Rookie – PSA 2.5 and No. 581 Seaver Rookie – PSA 6. Overall, it comes out to 47 percent Ex-Mt, 38 percent Excellent and 13 percent Very Good, with eight cards reaching above the range to Near-Mint. The five missing cards are: No. 430 Rose, No. 570 Willis, No. 580 Colavito, 600 Brooks Robinson and 605 Shannon.
