Presented here is an outstanding array of Near-Mint to Mint cards from the key 1987 Fleer Basketball issue, the company’s second foray into the expanding basketball card market that once again was headlined by the great Michael Jordan. These are seemingly as-issued cards from the company’s early years as a basketball card manufacturer. The grouping includes more than a dozen Hall of Famers, plus more than three dozen of the popular Stickers that accompanied the issue. Breakdown of 1987 Fleer (57): Barkley (2), Thomas, McHale, Daugherty Rookies (3), Dantley, Wilkins and Dumars (8); 1987 Fleer Stickers (39) – Abdul-Jabbar (2), Aguirre (3), Barkley (4), Bird (3), English (9), McHale (5), Olajuwon (3), Person (6) and Wilkins (4).
