Here are nearly two dozen cards from the historic 1957 Topps Baseball issue, an array that features 15 Hall of Famers and other great stars of the day, found here in essentially Very Good condition, with a few below. It’s an impressive group of legendary figures, presented here in an important and groundbreaking card set, Topps’ first effort in the now-standard 2 ½-by-3 ½-inch format that would become and remains the standard size for the industry. All of the cards listed are the players’ regular-issue version. Here’s the breakdown (21): Aparicio, Herzog, Reese, Fox, Wynn (3, two are Excellent), Furillo (2), Ashburn (Ex-Mt-Plus o/c), Hodges, Doby, Gilliam, Lemon (m/c), Boyer (2), Snider, Larsen (Good), Slaughter (2) and Kell.
