This is an impressive grouping of the elegant, oversized 1971 Topps Super issue, the 3 1/8-by-5 ¼-inch cards that feature some of the sharpest photography of the era. The offered group is missing only 10 cards to make a complete set and has some notable duplication, often involving some of the great stars of the period. It comes out to roughly 36 percent Ex-Mt, 32 percent Excellent, 22 percent Very Good and only 10 percent below, most of those to Good. The missing numbers (10): No. 4, 23, 37, 41, 42, 44, 47, 51, 54 and 56.
