Here’s an incredible homage to popular culture from the 1960s to the turn of the century, a simply prodigious array of sealed, complete sets depicting everything from Elvis, Dallas and The Bionic Woman to Three’s Company, Superman, The California Raisins and everything in between. Because almost everything is sealed in original cellophane of dealer-made packaging, it’s impossible to give an exact card count, but it nicely fills up a 3,000-count box, so we got that going for us. As noted, it’s a really remarkable opportunity to dramatically add to or launch on an amazing non-sport collection, all the while being provided a glimpse into pop culture over the last four decades. Here’s a breakdown (we’ll apply an arbitrary hierarchy): Elvis, The Wizard of Oz (boxed set of 110), Superman II, Return of Superman, Coca-Cola, Garbage Pail Kids (Series Four, Five and Eight), Desert Storm, Star Trek, Jaws II, Three’s Company, ET, Hulk, Moonraker, Goonies, Dallas, Grease, Menudo, The Bionic Woman, Arthur Treacher’s, The Black Hole, California Raisins, Dinosaurs Attack, Little Shop of Horrors, Rocketeer, Baby, Rocky II, Barbwire, Here’s Bo, Wacky Packages and one set with really cute little kitties. Whew!
