Presented is a simply outstanding example of one of the truly coveted bobbin head dolls from the early 1960s, the Roger Maris figure that arrived the year after his historic 1961 season when he topped the 60-home-run record established by somebody named Ruth. The Near-Mint Maris figure is 7 ½ inches, with the White Square Base, and is nothing short of sensational, virtually without incident, and boasting a superb paint job, with nice patina and excellent gloss, a nod to perfection that extends all the way to the delicate Maris facsimile autograph decal. Hard to imagine finding a more enticing example of this key figurine.
